Abstract: The paper presents a software package for simulating dynamic tests of an adiabatic heater, which is part of a hypersonic wind tunnel working gas source. The simulation results are compared with experimental data obtained on a special stand. The experiments carried out showed the complex interaction of the reciprocal movement of the pistons and the bed, and modeling of this process made it possible to determine all its other parameters (distances, speeds, accelerations, forces, etc.)
