DEVELOPMENT OF TECHNOLOGY FOR CREATING DIGITAL TWINS OF POWER TRANSFORMERS BASED ON CHAIN MODELS AND 2D MAGNETIC FIELD MODELS

Abstract: The relevance of the work is associated with one of the priorities of state policy related to the digitalization of the economy, in particular, with the development of digital twin technologies that allow simulating the operation of technical devices with an accuracy of 95% and higher. The object of this article is a power transformer, which is one of the main links of all energy systems. In the work, methods of the theory of nonlinear electric and magnetic circuits, as well as finite element models of the magnetic field were used. For software implementation of the developed technology, the MSExcel table processor, the EMLib library of finite element modeling of the magnetic field (author's development), the MatLab Simulink SmPowerSystem application were used. The results of the development of a model of arbitrary modes of operation of a power transformer are presented, which can be used as the basis for a digital twin of a specific device. The model combines high accuracy of calculations with high speed of calculations, which allows it to be used to study the operation of a power transformer in real-time simulation of an experiment. The model is based on a nonlinear magnetic circuit. The scattering inductances of the windings and the magnetic resistance of the zero sequence field are calculated based on the calculation of the magnetic field in a 2D formulation. As the simulation results are given the curves of current changes in the phases of the transformer. The model is easily tuned to the design features of a particular transformer. A controller board has been developed with which you can calibrate the model for a real transformer. The results of the work can be used in the design of power transformers and during their operation to simulate their work in various modes, including unbalanced and emergency. The developed technology is focused primarily on the sphere of small and medium-sized businesses. One will significantly facilitate the decision-making process in the design and operation of transformers, especially in conditions of lack or absence of experienced personnel.
