INFLUENCE OF FLUORPOLYMERIC CONNECTING ON EXPLOSIVE CHARACTERISTICS OF NANOCOMPOSITE Al/MoO3

Abstract: Currently, nano-thermites are recognized as a promising basis for the creation of various miniature pyrotechnic devices and means of initiation. At the same time, data on the effect of various additives on the parameters of the combustion of nanocomposites are widely presented in the literature, but the mechanisms of explosive transformation remain poorly understood, including the determination of the determining chemical reactions. This paper presents a study of the effect of fluoroplast brand F-42L on the relative strength of the explosion of a pyrotechnic composition based on the thermite interaction of aluminum nanopowders - fuel and molybdenum oxide - the main oxidizer. It is shown that the fluoroplast reduces the force of the explosion of the nanocomposite, and it has been established that the exothermic interaction of aluminum with the fluoroplastic is the determining chemical reaction of the explosive transformation.
