Abstract: Previously, based on the methods of electrospinning and melt-blown, the combined filter media was first developed and tested. However, we can improve such a combined media by profiling the distribution of the filtering fiber over the thickness of the media. In other words, to solve the optimization problem, we must calculate a profile in which the resource of the filter element will be maximized. Therefore, the task of this work is the calculation of the optimal profile of filtering fibers which will make the filter element more capacious to contamination. For this purpose, the inverse problem of least squares filtration model was solved. As a result, the optimal distribution of the filtering nanofibers across the thickness of the media was determined.
