Abstract: The results of experimental research of influence of ultrasound on the machinability of carbon-fiber-reinforced CFRP quasiisotropic structure. Found that ultrasound microreserve composite materials on the edges of the scratch is almost not observed unidirectional elongated structure of reinforcing fibers. When drilling small diameter holes in the samples of carbon-fiber-reinforced composite material with the message to the tool ultrasonic oscillations of small amplitude at the output of the tool is missing a roller unidirectional fibers, the edges of the hole almost clean, eliminating a fitter MOP-up operations and reduce the complexity of the process. The obtained results allow to make conclusion about efficiency of application of ultrasonic processing to improve the performance and quality of machining of products made of composite structural materials.
