Abstract: The combustion of a number model compositions with detonation nanodiamonds at elevated pressure is considered. The influence of the mass fraction of detonation carbon and detonation nanodiamonds on the burning rate of the compositions in the pressure range from 6 to 14 MPa was studied. It has been established the introduction of detonation nanodiamonds repeatedly increases the burning rate in the entire studied range. It is suggested the observed phenomenon is associated with the presence of gas inclusions in the structure of detonation nanodiamonds.
