CALCULATION AND THEORETICAL ESTIMATION OF THE ENERGY POTENTIAL OF HIGHLY FILLED PROPOSITIONAL COMPOSITIONS

Abstract: This article is devoted to the theoretical and computational studies of highly filled propellants. The dependences of the most important characteristics of propellant compositions (the strength of gunpowder, the amount of formed gaseous products, the combustion temperature) on the degree of filling with powerful explosives (RDX, HMX, HAV) have been established. Using the REAL software package, the energy characteristics of promising propellants based on cellulose nitrates with a nitrogen content of 11.5% to 13.2% and a technological fluoropolymer additive F-42 have been determined. The calculated data allow you to choose propellant compositions from a variety of formulation options for solving a wide range of problems with the required complex of thermodynamic characteristics: (T from 1959 to 4327 K, FP from 443.7 to 1335 kJ / kg, with Mg from 27.2 to 46.4 mol / kg).
